had never heard of this particular item, but have always liked anime, so i thought," what the heck". it is an interesting program to watch, a totaly different take on life,lol. have enjoyed it!!

Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our Little Known Amazing Award Winning Stop-Motion MovieI came across this movie by chance. I rented it and had to own my own copy. Even my teenage kids loved it and we all laughed until our sides hurt. It is a story of everything sad hat can happen to a person told in a funny and hopeful way. Dont miss it...

There are not enough words to describe how much I loved these short films!
Harvey is a poor Polish boy with Tourette's syndrome, after the death of his parents and Hitler's arrival he moves to Australia. After several adventures/misadventures he meets the woman of his dreams, gets married and has a child. With a plate in his head that acts as a magnet and minimal formal education Harvie is an odd duck that you cannot help but root for.
Included are Cousin, Brother and Uncle. These are just a couple of minutes long each and each is a heartbreaking look at people who do not actually fit in. Dealing with issues that would break most people, the characters try to make the best of a bad situation but as in life this is not always possible.
I don't want to give any more away but enough to say that you should get this - and that is a "fakt"!

The story itself is a very human one. It's full of humour and drama but, most importantly, an expression of the constant struggle of 'seizing the day' despite the challenges and difficulties.
The best way to watch this DVD is to start with the shorts in the Special section. Beginning with the one-minute short then going on to 'Uncle', 'Cousin' & 'Brother'.
Then, watch the 'main feature'. It's the best way to savour the whole DVD experience.
