Harvey (DVD, 2001)

I baught this DVD for my mothers birthday.She has never seen it before she is 79 years old and she loved it very much.It was everything the seller said it was and the shipping was very fast. Thank you eBay.

I love Jimmy Stewart and the rest of the cast as well. It is a classic movie. I have watched it many times and I still laugh!

Harvey............wonderful old movie. Great movie with Jimmy Stewart. Fun for the whole family to watch. Brought back old memories of watching it when I was younger.

This is Jimmy Stewart at his best. He plays a very likeable character - Elwood P. Dowd. This is a very imagitive movie, great for the young and old alike. If you like movies from the golden age of Hollywood, then you will love this.

i had vhs tape and wanted to upgrade to dvd. watched it again and laughed more than the first time i ever saw it. just wish it could have been colorized instead of left black and white.

I was talking to friends and they have not seen this video and decided to get on EBay and buy them one!

This is a good movie with a surprise ending. Suitable for children of any age up to the age of 100. Jimmy Stewart was great.

There's some hilarious mix-ups at mental hospital! After you've "seen" Harvey he'll be your friend too! There's no explosions or computer generation, It's "G" rated, Black & White, 1h:45min. Will you believe in Pooka?

My husband and I have seen Harvey on televiosion before and had wanted it for our collection.

The film Harvey has always been a favorite of mine. jimmy Stewart's acting style in this film is comparable to none. I couldn't image any other actor in the role of Elwood P. Dowd. My favorite line in the movie is when Elwood says, "My mother told me, Elwood in this world you must either be very, very smart or oh so very pleasant, for years I was smart, I prefer pleasant." And pleasant he is. I think there should be a little more Elwood P. Dowd in all of us. His warm, caring ways towards people was beautiful. Josephine Hull is excellent in her role as the worrisome sister Veda. Extremely concerned about her social status and that everyone in town will find out her brother is Coo-Coo because he continues to have a friendship with an invisible 6' 3" rabbit. This film also has a well chosen supporting cast, all very believable in their roles. This film is excellent. There are many laugh out loud moments. It's a film that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

It was a gift to a friend and they got it when they said it would be there. The price was very good including shipping charges. I would use them again and tell my freinds. Great job.

This is Jimmy Stewart at his best! Harvey is a first-rate story and all the actors are excellent. If you like comedy you'll love this cute movie with it's truly inventive story-line. This version features a commentary by Jimmy Stewart. It's fun to hear his views on the character and his own portrayal.

Saw it as a child and wanted my kids to be able to enjoy it too. I love Jimmy Stewart too. My daughter is kind of into the same kind of movies as I am even though she's 20. I just was sure that she would want to enjoy it with me.

Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite movie actors. Harvey is one of his most unique projects. "Harvey" is special to me because it is a reminder of one of the first dates I had with my husband - to see this in a local play adaptation.I own the VHS version - I just needed the DVD version and I love the personal perpsective from a Stewart interview about the movie.

This is a great old movie. I loved it as a child & still do. Even my 8 year old son loves it. It's a wonderful old family film.

Jimmy Stewart is an excellent actor. This is one of his best movies. You really do believe he's talking to an invisible rabbit.

Well, what can one say about Jimmy Stewart that hasn’t been said already? A wonderful man, a wonderful actor and this is one of his best. But let us not forget Josephine Hull who nearly steals the show in this one… She starred in all 5 years of the play’s run on Broadway (written by Mary Chase) and reprised her role as Veta Louise (Elwood’s sister) in an Oscar winning performance for the movie.

I’ll stop there, I don’t want to spoil the movie by giving away any details… Just watch it!

A final thought, each time I watch this movie, I ask myself at the end : "Is Harvey real, or just a figment?"
Well it’s simple really, Harvey is a real as we need him to be!

I seen this movie many years ago and it is one that you do not see on tv and it is a great movie and Jimmie Stewart had a great part and did a great job like he did in all of his movies. This is one of the few movies that I love to watch over and over again and recommened to every to see at least once in there lives.

i decide to pay this movie for a co worker and friend who's birthday is coming up. the movie is in top condition. i do not know about the viewing because i have not even her the gift until the 24th of june but other then that all is well

I watched this movie for the first time with my mother when I was about 10 years old.....now I am in my 40's. My grandson wanted to be a "giant White Rabbit" for Halloween last year. When I questioned him as to where he got that idea, he responded, "well wouldn't it be cool to have a big rabbit friend that could talk"....oh, you need to see Harvey! I was thrilled to find it on eBay on DVD no less since Hollywood/Blockbuster did not even have it available to RENT...that's so sad!

So I purchased this for me (walk down memory lane) and to share with my grandson. It's a light-hearted movie with a great cast and there is a wonderful commentary on the DVD with original footage of Jimmy talking about this role - which was one, if not the one, of his favorite films to make. Rock on Harvey!

Harvey is a great movie. Very comical, entertaining. Jimmy Stewart is one of the greatest actors of all time.

The story just reminds us that just because you can't see doesn't mean its not real. It does this in a fun and at time a hilarious ways and uses a clamity of errors and misunderstandings to do this. The actors are top notch in this movie and I can not tell you how much I laughed watch this movie again. This was my father's favorite movie and it was a family event when it came on TV when I was a child, only it's so much better being able to share it whenever I want and with whoever I want. It is a great classic movie with timeless appeal and would reccommend this movie to collects as a must have movie. It's an excellent movie to enjoyed while growing-up and to share with everyone when your old,I know I have and will many more times in the future. My grandchildren have ask me for this movie when I'm no longer with them so they may pass it on to there children.
