Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (Nintendo DS, 2008)

I have literally played EVERY Harvest Moon video game ever made.
And I have LOVED them all. Until, that is, Island of Happiness came out
for the Ninetendo DS.
I hurried out and purchased it the very same day it went on sale in the stores, rushed home, and eagerly opened the game to start playing.

What a MAJOR disappointment. It was so bad, that I will not waste another second of time on that game which is hard for me to say. Ninendo and the makers of Harvest Moon Island of Happiness really took steps backwards in development and game play with this newest version of my favorite video game series ever.

Everything is controled by your stylus pen making gameplay tedious, tiresome, and not very comfortable. DS users having played the previous versions of Harvest Moon were used to being able to control your characters actions and movements with the directional buttons. But with this new version you do not have that option and it made the game play very unenjoyable for me.

I spent 2 hours trying to learn to love this game. Instead, I am horribly disappointed and will be placing my game and strategy game up for sale real soon as I am not wasting any more time playing a game that is definately the worst Harvest Moon ever!
