Harvest Moon 64 (Nintendo 64, 1999)

The Harvest Moon series is a great one and this game really adds to it. The game included several new characters, some that seemed like the original in the SNES version, but still made the game an original. The game offers most to experience the farming life (though not even close to real farming) most thought of it as a fun game that had many twists and turns as you progressed. With updated crop systems and better graphics, this was easily the best of the Harvest Moon installment yet. As well, the festivals and village, mountain, and farm were entertaining to explore.

An extremely addictive game and is just satisfying to play.

Music: 9/10
The music is very relaxing and help sets the mood. Also, it changes according to the season or area you are in. In winter, the music is slower and suits the cold, snowy climate. In summer, it is lively and active.

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics are nothing special. However, because this game has no special effects, great graphics are not needed. Each person looks unique, and the terrain is very well done.

Replay Value: 10/10
This game is great to replay, because there is so much you can do differently. Each time you start a new game, you can decide to do something new with your life.

Overall, this game was a pleasure to play. It isn't all that challenging, and it isn't extremely exciting, but it was just a game that makes you feel good while playing it, and easily allows you to become absorbed into whats happening.

The harvest moon for super nintendo is by far the best game ive ever played. However that game is super rare to find yet you can find it for the pc via a snes emulator.

harvest moon for n64 is the closest one ive played to date. ive played the current ones for game cube and ps2 and they dont come close to the n64.

very fun game that looks nerdy but very addictave once you play it. I sold my n64 system and games to get a ps2 but once i found my wife had a old n64 system i had to find this game on e-bay and bought it again. very fun game, will recc. it to anyone

One of the best games on the Nintendo 64 and easily the best game in the Harvest Moon series. Ridiculously addicting and very fun, anyone with a Nintendo 64 needs to own this one.

This is the best Harvest Moon created. A lot of the newer Harvest Moons get too complicated and take away from the simplistic fun this game holds. And as for the old ones they are difficult to control and/or understand. This one takes the cake. As long as you are capable of reading, you can play this game. I have had my copy for about five years and I have beat and replayed this game more than any other game I have owned. It really is that good, and that addictive.

There aint no going wrong with this Game i own a copy and would like to own another just in case.But the graphics are pretty medi-ocre and the gameplay is awesome. Probably in many opinions one of the best underrated games on the N64 console. Very,Very Rare game to find.But if u have money to spend this is a good choice to spend it on.

Harvest Moon 64 is a game that every gamer can enjoy. Whether it's planting seeds and getting rich off produce, getting married and starting a family, or developing relationships with the townspeople, there's something for everyone in the N64 Classic. It's nice to have a game where you can sit down and play for 10 min and still do something significant. Totally recommend for a fun experience to any N64 owner, child or adult alile!

The cartridge worked right out of the package on the first attempt. That is actually unusual for older 64 game cartridges, particularly used/non-pristine games. We've had no trouble with it at all. There are no surprisingly no real cosmetic defaults to the cartridge; and, the original stickers are intact and show little signs of wear. This is also unusual. The game appears new. We (My family and I) are very pleased.

I just recently bought a N64 again off ebay and im so happy i get this amazing game to go with it! in my opinion this was the best 64 game and deffinitly the best of the other HM's! im so so excited to get it!!

It's good for its age. I enjoy it in that it is a little different from some of the Harvest Moons we have. The races and some of the interactions are pretty uniqu to this version.

For the people that enjoy this kind of RPG, its a great game. Not a lot of action, so know what you like, but it's an undeniable classic for its genre. I recommend it to good old fans of the older RPG. (Assuming you can handle the older graphics. ;] )

This was bought for my kids, and they like it very much. They have Playstation 2 and play this one instead. From what they tell me, I would recommend this for anyone who likes these kinds of games.

My nephews called middle of the day said please go buy us this game. You can get it at this store which was local to our town. The price I thought was outrageous so I looked on Ebay and this seller had the very same game fraction of the cost here locally and Shipped amazingly quick. Game has given them hours of pleasure and they are 12 and 17 years of age. This game is a lot of fun with endless hours of pleasure for them. Great game to have.

alot of my friends say this game is lame and that im a nerd for playing it and still playing nintendo....but they are stupid because i have this game and a another harvest moon game for ps 2 but its nothing compared to this one

The games is fun and absolutely adorable. My five year old grandson ... whom has been playing Nintendo 64 games now since a year old loves it. I like it as well. A good game for children.

I really enjoyed playing this game when my son was young and de ided that it would be great if i coukd play it again. The only problem I have with this game is , you know I don't have a problem with the game.

This game is a great classic for n64.You are a farmer that has to work and rebuild your dead grandfather's farm.There are many activites that you do,such as going to your town's festival,help rebuild a bridge to get past a mountain and build a hot spring in the mountains.There are five bachelorettes,each with their own personalities,you can choose to marry one of them by proposing with a blue feather.This game is a must for everybody!Buy this game and hope you will enjoy it!
