Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (HD DVD, 2007)

What is so great about the harry potter films is that they grow with your child, they become more intellectually stimulating and more emotionally involved. This film is definately is fun and enjoyable for virtually all children 6 and up. as the second film in the series you sould watch the first movie first for background, and rest assured all the subsequent films will leave you wanting more as well. As this film is a bit scaryier than the first, with a giant spider, but Your 6+ year old should be very much glued to the tv threwout... heck you'll be glued to the tv!!

HD DVD movies are cheaper and Harry Potter movies are great. My kids love the movie and it looks really crisp in the hd dvd format. The chamber of secrest is a great addition to the series.

We all know that the Harry Potter films are well made and fun to watch for kids and adults alike. Watching them in HD, at such a low cost as can be had for those of us fortunate enough to have an HD DVD player is a whole new experience. 1080p resolution coupled with lossless DOlby TrueHD audio is a win-win.

The first movie was great, but this one was even better! The same cast is back for their second year of schooling at Hogwarts and there is more humor and action than before!! If you love the book series, you are sure to love the movie as well! Great for any age!

I love HD DVD, especially this one. This is not my favorite of chapter in the HP series, but I love it just as well. It's good, it has excellent features & it looks crystal clear on my 61" HDTV. The only thing I don't like about it, is that it still has black bars [i.e. it's like letterbox]. My HDTV is 1080p and 16X9 and yet every DVD & HD DVD has it's own aspect ratio. Some fill my screen perfectly, some don't. It just makes me angry that a standard couldn't be reached in the industry. I understand why films are shot differently, but I didn't pay thousands of dollars for a 61" TV so I could watch 50 some inches of it. Blue-Ray manufactures had better get it together, because on demand HD DVD titles are definitely going to keep me from investing in future movie players after the HD DVD debacle. Cable alters HD titles to fill your screen [most of the time] and free on demand is much cheaper than a player & replacing all my favorite titles that I already own on DVD & HD DVD. But, I'm sure they'll do just fine without my money. Harry Potter Rules!

Looks great... Just wondering why Warner Bros thinks it can switch up formats over halfway through this series?
I wont buy a single Blu-Ray disc... EVER!
I'd rather eat used Kitty Litter.
