I have five boys, 4 out 5 love reading. The only boy who is not into reading loves Harry Potter so we have the whole series in our house. I am a huge fan of all boys, because reading is the open to every door in life.
The first four books are our favorites in our house. They love to read them over and over again. Our youngest is far too young to be reading them by himself as yet. But when he does get to the age of reading I am sure all Harry Potter books will be his favorites as well. I love how she has managed to capture our boys attention with every single book. Harry Potter are for boys who love reading and for boys that don't love reading so get a copy of Harry Potter if you don't have one!

I bough this book for my young nephew who is just now old enough to read it. He was so excited to have his "very own" hardcover copy! (He & mom had checked it out @ the library & he was bummed they had to take it back.):>)

In all the Harry Potter books, I just love the fantasy and imagination that J.K Rowling has put into her stories and the personality she has put into her characters. I look at the emotion I share with the author of each individual in the book and realize I have grown to love the entire series for everything that is put into it. I highly reccomend everyone of all ages to read and enjoy!!

The book Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, is a story with many different characters. These characters are unusually easy to remember. The capability to recall the role, personality, and part in each of the harry potter books is due to the way Ms. Rowling can write a story that keeps a persons undivided attention do to its thrilling story line and plot. The story takes you on a magical adventure into some of the darker areas in the magical realm. This book being somewhat of a contrast to the first book that Ms. Rowling wrote, Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone. The contrast makes the book even more enticing. I would give this book a rating of, 9/10 for its visible action and the ability it has to keep a readers interest threw many hours of pure reading. I also gave it that rating do to the books capability to paint very precise pictures of what is going on in the story due to the great job that Ms. Rowling dose in describing the events that take place in the story.

While not like the more recent books in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is more devoted to the younger ages, although adults will find it a good read as well.

Seller posted the book on ebay. I won, paid and waited. After a week of not receiving the item, I e-mailed the seller. Next day, the Seller refunded my money. There is no even a note or an e-mail why, I guess the main thing I got my money back.

I bought this book to add to my collection of hardcover harry potter books. I love the adventurous events in the book and the great illustrations on the cover!

The thing about all the Harry Potter books, not just this one, is that the books are actually good reading. While the movies lean toward sensationalism, the books stay somewhat low-key and are not scary. The movies can be frightening by the scary props & the way they interpret Voldemort, etc. but in the imagination of the reader, there is freedom to keep it light if you so desire, & therefore, the books can be as wonderful & delightful as you imagine them to be.

I very much enjoy most every thing By J.K. Rowling. Excellent Book !

I love how you learn more and more of the characters lives and backgrounds. JK Rowling has a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat and you just want to read faster and faster.

I am reading the books for the second time - before the last two movies come out.

Harry Potter may have initially been written for children, but I am not ashamed that I adore them. Ver well written, lots of adventure, leaves you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.
