This was bid on by mistake. Don't ask. But the guy who owned the game was super understanding. I wish I would have bought it from him. We paid around $60.00 for this game from Wal-Mart, and we could have got it for around $26.00 bidding on e-bay.

An easy game with movie clips and pretty good graphics. My first Xbox 360 game and I'm not disappointed.

If you've played any Harry Potter game before, essentially the same thing. Follows a different book, but basically, learn spells, cast them, fight badguys, blahblah. Fun for a break from any mindless violence but not a great game really.
5/10, its all bland, bland music, bland graphics, bland blandness.

This game was a decent game. Not overly great, but it had some good qualities to it. It held strongly to the movie's storyline and the character voices and qualities were realistic. I would recommend this game to any Harry Potter fan. I enjoyed it.

I'm a big fan of the books, as well as the movies. I have all of the games for Xbox - this one I only had on PC, so I wanted to pick it up for the 360. The graphics are pretty good, the map is HUGE, and there's a ton of things to do. You can find your favorite characters & there's a lot of interaction throughout the map: fixing broken vases, pushing rugs & tapestries aside, games to play, secret doorways/passwords, etc. It's all there. One of the only complaints I had were about the tasks & how I've yet to find a place that lists them clearly...Now, it could be I've missed something, but it's hard to come back to the game after a long while & remember conversations, instructions and clues you were given on your character a couple weeks back, ya know? Other than that, I'll say that this game is much more in-depth than Half-blood Prince, the next in the series - maybe not as graphicly pleasing, but nearly, & there's just A LOT more to do. So, I would suggest this one above HBP. AS for this entire series of games, I think this game is also very indicative of how the characters are growing up - the games progress in much the same way as far as the way chracters interact with their environment and other characters, what tasks you have & how complicated they are, the gameplay itself & the increasingly complicated moves one must do to be sucessful. All around, well worth the money & tons of fun!

I like this game a lot. There are plenty of things to unlock and mini games to lay. The story mode actually lasts for a while. The marauder's map is also a cool feature. All and All a good game.

I have only play this about 20% but so far it has been a great experience. If you have read all the books and seen all the movies and still want something new, this is a great way to fill that need for harry potter!

I really loved the graphics. And I appreciated the Marauder's Map being available all the way through (those little foot prints took me everywhere.) And I liked the games -- the marbles, the matching games and, especially, the Wizard's Chess. (I wish somebody would make a game that is nothing but Wizard's Chess.) BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, the duels were disappointing because it seems no matter how good or bad you were at casting spells they always turned out the same. And the hardest part was figuring out when the game ended ( I still don't know.) Usually there are credits at the end to let you know it's the end but in this game you could roam the halls forever looking for an ending that isn't there.

This is an awesome game and it follows the movie's story line. The interaction is really fun and addicting. You mostly follow the storyline while interacting with characters and scenarios. There are many hidden secrets throughout Hogwarts that you need to find which reward you with more powerful moves and interview/game design clips to watch. The only thing I don't like about it is that Ron and Hermione follow you wherever you go and a lot of times get in your way if you try to turn around and go back through a doorway. That's really it though as far as bad goes. It's a really fun and addicting game and I recommend you buy it because if you rent it, you'll end up renting it probably a few more times because you'll want to finish the whole thing. So it's probably cheaper to just buy a copy off of eBay because they are pretty cheap.

I liked how THE GAME never stopped to load something!There needs to be more spells. Harry needs to be able to kill people. That would be sweet! A little blood would be a good effect.

The Graphics in this game are great.
Very good for a beginner. The story lines and plots are very easy to follow. If you get lost in the game there are many ways to refind where you left off.

A quick play through for kids. It was exactly like the movie - story line was followed to a T. One play through even for my kids was enough.

Good graphics and characters are almost dead on...The game is good and sometimes slow. I bought it for my wife she is a big Potter fan.
