Bloody Hell, Harry!
That would about sum up why I purchased this awesome book, and actually all of the audio books, on tape and NOT in CD format!
Not to be lost in a decade or two of audio technology gone by, but the tape version is far better for the short term 'reader' because it offers something that the CD's don't.
When you listen to the disk version and you stop the disk, you have to go back and search the disk on your next listen for where it is you left off.
With the tapes, where you left off is exactly where you begin again!
It is an easy convenience and allows for the 'reader' to really keep it simple.
Of course, each of the books are very well read by long standing British talent, Mr.Jim Dale who, if I might add, I could swear was the voice of Doby. But the part was actually played by Toby Jones. Doby, Toby, hmmmmm?
True to itself in every way, the audio book is a great way to 'read' your hard cover edition without ever breaking the binding!
