Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling (1999, Hardcover)

I love the thought and imagination J.K. Rowling put into this book. The details are so precise you can picture the entire story in your head. I first read this book with my son when he was ten. The Harry Potter collection captivates minds, young and old alike. My favorite part is the boost it gave my son in his love of reading. He has been hooked since the first book and has gone through the set of seven, devouring them page by page. When a teenager puts down the computer mouse or the video controller for a book, you know it has to be really good. We have been Harry Potter fans since the first book. We already owned a paperback copy of this book but we wanted a hard cover copy for our collection. My son is almost fifteen now and he knows how the Harry Potter story ends. I have a one year old daughter who I am sure will enjoy these books someday as much as her big brother did. The best part, I will get to see the whole story again, through the eyes of another child. I can hardly stand the wait!
