Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Blu-ray Disc, 2007)

Chamber of Secrets - This series is very enjoyable and entertaining to watch. Not only for kids but adults too. The stories are easy to get into and before you know it you're 2 hours into the movie.

What is so great about the harry potter films is that they grow with your child, they become more intellectually stimulating and more emotionally involved. This film is definately is fun and enjoyable for virtually all children 6 and up. as the second film in the series you sould watch the first movie first for background, and rest assured all the subsequent films will leave you wanting more as well. As this film is a bit scaryier than the first, with a giant spider, but Your 6+ year old should be very much glued to the tv threwout... heck you'll be glued to the tv!!

The Harry Potter books and movies are perfection. My husband and I are fully grown adults who fell in love with this series. It is totally absorbing - funny, frightening, beautiful, fills the imagination. It is also not a story that talks down to children or makes everything perfect and sunny. It shows being outcast, being sad, being afraid. On the other hand it also shows being brave, being loyal and being a true friend. The lesson is that no one is perfect, we all have our talents, but that is okay. It is also okay that things aren't always the way we would want, but we can get through it. I highly recommend to families and anyone who still is young at heart locking for an adventure.
