Harry Potter Boxed Set by J. K. Rowling (2007)

The books themselves are a wonderful reading experience. J.K.'s imagination is boundless and her details are amazing. These books can be just as easily enjoyed by adults as by children. The trunk itself could have been made of a more substantial construction, rather than cardboard & plastic, however it does hold it's own when properly taken care of. Overall, I am very please with the set & for the great price I received for my set, I have no disappointments whatsoever.

I absolutely love this collection. It is full of creativity, imagination, and fantasy. If you enjoy those things, you won't be able to put it down once you pick it up! These books also contain life lessons about friendship, courage, family, and much more! I can't wait to start my own family and share them with my children!

Its great having all the books together and contained in a box. Plus, with all hardback, they all match. The books are incredible. I have read them all many times and can never put them down while reading.

Transaction went smoothly. I bought the item because it was less expensive than Amazon and included free shipping. It also cost less than buying the books individually.

Love this set and can't put them down, almost half done reading already. I bought this for myself but intend to give as a gift for christmas. Love the stories and have purchased all the movies so that once I have read all the books I can have a Harry Potter Day to watch all the movies

Great gift. I love it. All seven of the Hsrry Potter books in a Hogwart school type trunk. It is A Great buy.

I bought this boxed set for my son, for his 12th birthday. He is really into reading these types of books.

Très bon produit pour les fans de la saga. Coffret magnifique avec des bonus de très bonne qualité (marques pages, cartes à collectionner, enveloppe destiné à harry). Le DVD bonus peut être lu sur n'importe quel lecteur, le dvd game est cependant de zone 1 (etats unis, canada) donc attention, et bien sûr les films sont des blu-ray donc non lisibles sur la plupart des lecteurs de salon.
Si vous êtes au courant de tout cela, c'est achat de choix.

Since the books are the real product, it was great. Brand new, all 1st edition. My only complaint appears to be a common one. The trunk is cardboard with a plastic clasp. The particular box that came with my set is not only difficult to open and close, but also to remove and replace the books. Even considering these flaws, it was still a good buy.

This set of books even when the books are the hard cover ones is a little misleading when telling people to buy the books in a trunk with lock and key. The trunk is a cardboard box and not even a good quality one. If they described it correctly it is ok but beware of sellers trying to sell it as a real trunk.

I bought 2 sets of Harry Potter Books. I never received the books. I left several emails with the seller but never received a reponse. I had to file a dispute to try and get my money refunded back to me. Thanks goodness for paypal. I will never buy from this seller again.

I actually purchased this item for myself! I received the first book in the series as a gift and wanted to get the whole collection, so this was a great find! Although the trunk is made out of cardboard, I felt that for the books alone, it was worth it. Nice collector item for any Potter maniac!

Never received...the seller was suspended from ebay.....I was very very disappointed....

Now, ask me about a piece of McCoy pottery I received...all broken...tried to resolve through seller....he kept saying he would reimburse me....took five months...still no reimbursement. Now all he does is send me insulting emails. Ebay dropped the ball on this one...too late to file official complaint..thought I would get resolution directly through seller.

This boxed set came in a wonderful trunk. Along with entire series it came with stickers. My son personalized his trunk to make it his own. It made it even better that the books can be displayed all together in the trunk.

I bought this for my mom. She was so happy christmas "morning".

The only disappointing aspect...the box could look a little more realistic.

I bought the Harry Potter collection set for my wife, It was an aniversary gift. she loved she is a big fan of Harry Potter. As she was reading book after book she kept comming to me like a kid out of a movie theater eager and excited to tell me what she learned in the books and the secrets and gossip about things going on in Hogwarts and it's sorroundings. It got to the point that I got hooked on the books myself and I must say. you don't just imagine what you are reading, you are actually transported to england as you accompany Harry through his seven years of adventures, battles, joys, dispairs, trials and tribulations and finally to his happily ever after. It makes you want to read it over and ovr again and relive those moments with harry and all his friends. J.K. Rowling, You are no less than a pure unadulterated genious.

I thought the box would be made out of wood not cardboard. this is not the falt of the sellar it was just a mistake on my side.

well considering we didn't recieve our product, it sucked. We're in a dispute with pay pal currently.

I liked the fact that I could get the whole Harry Potter set for a good price. Unfortunately, I never received the package, and the seller is no longer a registered user of Ebay. Using Paypal, however, gave me the confidence to know that if something like this did happen, I would be protected. And that I value - peace of mind.

Just as many other people I haven't receive the books I have ordered and only thanks o PayPal I haven't lost the money as well as Christmas present. :(

The books are great, but the transaction was a disaster. I waited and waited for the books to arrive, a Christmas gift for my daughter. The seller had a very good feedback score, but I guess he decided to exit the ebay process in a big way. When I looked at his feedback page to leave a message, I noticed dozens of angry messages about not receiving the Harry Potter books. This was my largest purchase on ebay. Now I am out $125 and have no books for my daughter. This was her only Christmas request. Bah Humbug Ebay should do more to protect buyers. There were dozens of angry people. Why didn't they stop the seller sooner?

I absolutely love J. K. Rowling as an author. Her Harry Potter books have been a real pleasure to read and I like most others anxiously awaited the next book in the series each time. This set is great. The trunk is actually a heavy cardboard, but decorated to look like a trunk. I love the stickers that come with the trunk so each owner can decorate the trunk their own way. I do wish J K Rowling had given a little more details of what became of who in book 7, but all in all, it was a great ride!
