This was our first of many Scholastic Videos. I originally purchased it because I loved the story Harry the Dirty Dog as a child. Our household is one with lots of pets, so my young son loved this video the first time he watched it. As with other Scholastic Videos, the animation closely matches the book's original illustrations, which made me nostalgic for my own childhood.
The great John Lithgow narrates one of the feature stories in his ALWAYS superb manner. Another feature includes wonderful music and an eyeful of "Ahhhh" inspiring puppies.
This video is GREAT for young children 2 years and older!

) I decided to buy this DVD because we have a son named Harry! It's such a delightful story, but it doesn't end there! There are several other unrelated, yet wonderful stories also included in this DVD! Great for kids!!!
