Harold and the Purple Crayon - The Complete Series (DVD, 2004, 2-Disc Set)

I remember reading Harold and the Purple Crayon as child, and started reading the original story to my 4 year old son. I found that the animated series airs on HBO and we had taped an episode to see if it was as captivating for him as the book. He fell in love with Harold and his imagination, so we bought the DVD which has the complete series. The stories are creative and Sharon Stone has a great voice for the narration. Our son loves to take it on the airplane when we travel, and even our 17 month old is starting to enjoy the colorful characters and images.

This is a fantastic DVD and I recommend it highly! I took this out of the library last summer not knowing anything about this series and my son loved it. He just turned 3 and he still is enjoying it. It's wonderfully narrated and the stories are just simple, innocent and imaginative.

My grandchildren just loved this video from the minute it started until the minute it was over. There is nothing like imagination to spark a child's wonder! The concept behing the story is unique. The video is great!

My kids love Harold and the Purple Crayon and these discs don't disappoint. The discs come with quite a few movies, enough to keep them entertained for a while. Can't go wrong with Harold!

Haven't seen the DVDs, but our 3 year old grandson loves em. He evenhas his mother read the books to him.

if you have a toddler these are the perfect bedtime stories my kid loves harold and always says thats a good story daddy.

My daughter absolutely loves this DVD. We watch it almost every day. It is great because it comes with 2 DVD's so I can keep one at home and send one to her grandma's when she goes to visit! Thanks alot!!!!

You simply cant go wrong with a Harold! It has to be one of the all time great DVD choices for before bed viewing. My preschooler loves Harold!

My son (7 years old) who is autistic loves this series and now my younger daughter does as well (21 months). Excellent ebay seller. Its very sweet.

This is the best nap-time movie ever! It's so relaxing and such a sweet story; my kids love it. We had one VHS that only had 2 stories on it, so I bought this so we can all enjoy the whole series.

I bought this dvd for my grandkids and I will tell you it's more popular then the book. And that is saying a lot because the book is now worn out from all the reading of it. If your childern liked Harold and the Purple Crayon book they will love this movie. My grandkids are 2 and 4

I did not like the fact that the seller got the payment for the product but took over two weeks to ship the purchase to me. The purchase is fine, was not happy with the seller.
