Harman/kardon DPR 2005 7.1 channel Receiver

This Audio Video receiver is outstanding, especially matched up with 8 JBL speakers of various sizes. I started with a smaller HK AVR135 and upgraded to the digital path unit after a few months. I desired more power to drive speakers properly. I moved the smaller unit to the garage.

The setup of both HK units was easy and fast. Built in features enable quick calibration and installation.

One feature of HK audio devices I really enjoy is the Logic 7 circuit that converts 2 channel stereo into 7 channel sound. This feature expands simple audio to an amazing room filling experience.

All Harman/Kardon and JBL equipment sold by harmanaudio.com on ebay is factory reconditioned or refurbished. It carries all original factory warranty and service as new units.

Unfortunately the first DPR2005 unit failed after about 2 weeks - once contacted (it took a week for a response) Harman quickly shipped another unit. Recievers carry a two year warranty - I feel comfortable with that. I knew purchasing a refurb had some risk - I was plenty willing to accept the risk since purchase price was literally 15 cents on the dollar(for the complet system) as compared to new.

I tied this amazing system to a new 50 inch HD plasma, PC, DVD, CD, and cable tv service. The experience is simply amazing.

I have always noticed that sound systems in clubs and other venues that grabbed my attention were JBL - the desire to build a nice system has burned inside of me for years. Ebay and the HarmanAudio store provided the mechanism at a great price. Easy payment and extra fast shipping made it all that much easier.

I would not hesitate to reccomend Harman and JBL equipment to anybody. Some of my co-workers have already ordered equipment and stop by to see and hear my system or get advice.
