A 3 out of 5 Hardy Boys Book

I bought/read many of the Hardy Boys books when I was younger, and have reintroduced myself to them as a young adult. This is one that I recently purchased and read for the first time.
This is not the most realistic of the books. The Hardys have a high-tech van given to them by the Bayport PD. Chet is an integral part of their team, and is somewhat of a technical genius with some of their gear (kind of OoC, in my opinion). Other things stand out, but the most unbelievable of all -- Frank, Joe, and Chet get rocketed up into space with just a few days notice, and once up there, Frank actually talks the Shuttle Commander into letting him spacewalk unsupervised with very little persuasive effort.
Overall, I enjoyed the book, as I do most all of them. But they reeeeeeaaaaaallllly stretched it with this one, I think.
