revisiting a classic!
i bought it as a gift for the son of a friend. i got this book when i was young, maybe 10, and it tought me a lot of things that i still consider useful today. things that i think a young person could find captivating, like how to take fingerprints, follow people and go undercover for investigative purposes. it smacks of 1950's life and some may be put off by that, but in this case, it's ok since the hard information is what the book is about. sure it's dated, but it can still make a kid interested enough to follow it up on the net.
