Hard Times (DVD, 1999, Closed Captioned; Multiple Languages)

Clearly a "guy movie" about street fighting for money during the depression era.
If you want to see many men getting hit in the face with Charles Bronson's fists and watch them go down, then this is THE movie for you!!
If you're a Charles Bronson fan, you'll find this little known movie to be perhaps his best movie ever!!
The late James Coburn and the equally late Jill Ireland (his real wife) also starred in this movie.
Although they are all deceased, this great movie will always live on.

I love this movie. The fight scenes are truly awesome, you just don't see fighting in movies like this anymore.

This movie is packed with action,but hard to find were it's older. I purchased it for a friend who has been wanting it for a good while.

I enjoyed this movie very much(why I added it to my collection). This is one of Charles Bronson's best. I think it showes how rough life was during the hard times of the depression and how one man was able to use his talent and street sense to survive in a world where one took nothing for granted and each day was a struggle. If you like gritty and no holds barred then I think you will not only enjoy this film but glimpse a little how things were in the days when men had to sell apples on the corner in order to provide for their familes.

This was another great movie by charles Bronson. He was a great actor and had really good rolls that suited him well

One of Charles Bronson's best movies. If you like bare knuckle fighting back in the 30s behind closed doors this is the movie for. A classic.

I bought the Hard Times DVD three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive DVD. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The DVD's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the movie has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the DVD makes you click four times before you can find Chapter in the menu, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other DVDS I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the DVD if you're on a budget.

This is an action movie, done on a low budget, with great acting. The story line is in a southern tradition set during the depression. James Colburn, the High Roller, should have received an acting award.

I really love good old movies and among other good ones, this is one of them.I bought Satan's triangle with Kim Novak,Gun Fight with Kirk Douglas sometime back. And I didn't had any problem then. I would have still be buying some more but I just can't seem to make my payment with my debit card for there is too much in there to make the transfer. it's the IDs and pass words that get me reall confuse. sometime in the pass I forgot my pass words and IDs for when i made my first purcheses but I lost them for a while and then all of the sudden I happen to find them and then when I tried to do it again, I still couldn't get inn.Still, would like to some one from E-Bay to help me on this problem cause I really like to buy some more films.I think that the only way that I could do it is to start with a completely diferent registration, which I tried before, but when I went in there for a new registration, and gave you my name, word came out saying that I was already registered I couldn't do any more. Sorry I placed this film of hard times and couldn't get out for my problem. I even tried to send a money order but sometimes it's not eccepted and still, it would take too long for me to receive the purchase. Sorry.
