Worst Vietnam Experience Ever Written - By Far

After reading hundreds of books on the Vietnam War, this has to be the most boring and poorly written book I have ever had the displeasure of reading. If you are buying this from a book club or remainder book, save your dollar and buy a candy bar, instead! I read about 200 pages and threw this book in the trash, where the transcript belongs now. The author, Yadinak, had a title for every sequence of events that happened in his part of the war, and absolutely none of them were relative to what happened, rather his opinions of what transpired and his philosophies of war. Do not get sucked in by the back of the book and think you are going to read about clandistine missions that last 4 weeks in North Vietnam or Cambodia because he never gets that far becaue the author talks more about his ideas and viewpoints to get into the missions and what consisted during the missions. Poorly written and boring from page 1 until I stopped reading, this book should have never been published and if you have a chance to read it, skip the time it takes and go outside and enjoy watching the birds or grass grow because it will be just as exciting!
