NARRATED BY LORELEI KING Unabridged
To understand Stephanie and Ranger and Morelli and the whole clan you need to read the books in order to get the background history from the beginning. Again....you need to know the characters. Steph does seem to bumble her way out of a lot of situations. I hope the rest of the books have her acting a little more gung ho on the bounty hunter stuff. It does make for the book. Also.....enough with the car explosions. All in all....what I have been waiting for happened and that made my day so on to book nine.

Stephanie takes on a case of a missing mother and daughter. In trying to find them she makes the local mobsters mad too! She finds herself questioning her normally staunch standards about right and wrong and she and Joe end up on the outs because of it. Will Ranger take this opportunity to get closer to Stephanie? You bet, but you have to read to see how close. She gets into her typical sticky situations the book keeps you laughing the whole time you are listening. This is a definite must have whether you collect Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series or not. I was either laughing, on the edge of my seat, or trying to figure out what came next for the entire book!

Hard Eight Janet Evanovich Unabridged Audio CD
) As usual Janet Evonovich has written a wonderful and funny story about Stepanie's adventures. The narration by LORELEI KING is terrific as usual. Her characterizations make you believe these are real people!! I would highly recommend any of Evanovich's books, but listening to them in order is the best way because you experience the character development over time.
