Happy Feet (2007, Blu-ray Disc)

My wife loves this movie. My little sister inlaws love it too. Great movie for the family or anyone. 2 thumbs up.

The film is a bit boring especially for people who already watch the "March of the Penguins"

Not quite sure about the story the the film try to tell. Do penguins communicate with their singing or dancing?

When Mumble is born into a colony of Emperor penguins, he finds himself unable to be accepted by all other penguins, lacking the ability to sing a heartsong - a mating song which all penguins can perform from an early age. He does however have a talent for tap dance which is derided by his peers and scorned by the penguin elders as displeasing to their deity. Mumble's gift of dance is blamed for the possible cause of their food shortage, which is in reality caused by nearby trawlers depleting local fish stocks. After being virtually outcast by his colony he goes in search of the humans in an attempt to reason and communicate with them.
Great family and kids movie

I purchased the Happy Feet Blu-ray Disc for my grandson but it turned out that I enjoyed watching it as much as he did. The clarity of the picture and the vibrant colors were outstanding. It made me feel like I was part of the movie. The only thing I disliked was the numerous previews of upcoming movies that took up a lot of time. I was not able to skip the previews or fast forward to the main movie. My grandson got impatient and turned his attention elsewhere. I recommend Blu-ray discs to all buyers.

What else can I say great story line, the best music ever and in Blu-ray the sound and picture make the movie even better.

Happy Feet is a very cute movie with lovable penguins trying to save the artic, but has some questionable dialogues. Good Movie!

i like this item because its a funny movie, and i decided to buy it because of my family my little girl like this movie

The Blu Ray edition of this movie is amazing. The detail and sound take your experience to a totally different level. This was my first Blu Ray movie when I bought my player. I couldn't have made a better choice!

I loved that it was exactly as the seller had described and was brand new and sealed. I bought it because i heard it had great picture quality and sound,and it did.I loved the movie.I didnt dislike anything about it.

The Movie is great. I enjoyed it as much as my four-year old. It is very upbeat and funny. I am very pleased with the quality of the picture at 1080p, I only wish the movie also came in a non Blue-ray format and could be played in older DVD players.

Happy Feet is a cute fun film the entire family can enjoy. The movie is full of humor that will be appreciated by old and young alike while the music will appeal to audiences of all ages. The animation here is top notch and the voice overs are some of the best in the business featuring talent from Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman, and Nicole Kidman. The movie even won an Academy Award for best animated film. The only reason I don't give the film a perfect rating is because there is quite a bit of propaganda towards the end concerning environmental protection and global warming which tends to damper the easy going mood that prevails for most of the movie. All things in consideration, Happy Feet should be an easy choice is you or your family, especially if you enjoy the animated genre.

I bought it for my kids and ended up watching it a few times myself. Aside from the movie itself, Blu-Ray is just the only way to go nowadays. There is no subtitute nor any compromise for the clarity and sound that you get from Blu-ray discs. It enhanced the movie to incredible proportions!The movie had a great story line and huge cast! The soundtrack to this movie should be also one to purchase. Great movie overall! 9 out of 10. But 10 out of 10 on Blu-Ray. A must have for any avid collectors library of Blu-ray.
