The Happiest Baby on the Block by Harvey Karp M.D. (2005, Paperback, Reprint)

If I had a nickel for every time that someone said "You have such a good baby"...I would have bought eBay by now :). This is simply the most important book that a new parent could ever get thier hands on. Even if you know someone who is about to have a baby - GET THEM THIS BOOK!! The techniques in this book really work if you do them properly. Turn that crying baby into a happy, content one. You just need to know what to do and this book shows you. You will learn about the 5 S's and how the combination is pretty much a gaurantee that your baby can be calmed almost instantly.

What can I say more about this book is that the 5 s's really work, when my son was having problems with colic the 5 s's were the only thing that worked.
I always thought when you wrap your baby it must not be too tight but I was very wrong, he says tell the Dad to do it cause they are more likely to do it just right. I can promise you this really works and by reading this book you can see the care the Doctors has for your child and making the s's work.

A must for every new parent!!!! It is amazing how easy it is to make your baby stop crying. I was in the pediatrition's office convinced something was wrong because my baby would not stop crying when he was two weeks old. They recommended these tips and the DVD/book and it turned around that day. Great buy!

This book helped my three month-old twins sleep for seven hours at a stretch! Dr. Karp describes an easy formula to soothe fussy babies and help them sleep longer. I highly recommend this book to any new parent.

I love it. It is very helpful. No problems in getting the book. It took a little longer than I thought. The seller siad 5-7 days which is normal for regualar mail. The book arrived about 12 days later. The book was in good condition exactly what the seller promised.

I've had several friends recommend this book to me. I haven't read the whole thing yet. It starts out kind of slow and isn't exactly what I expected. It focuses more on sleep habits than I would like. Maybe it will get better.

An outstanding book for any new parents. This book will give you the methods to make your baby truly happy and it really does work! The author gives you the tools to make to comfort your baby and stop them from crying in just a few seconds. I highly recommend this book and the video is great as well.
