This is a great film made in the 50's,and rtelased in the 60's. It is a chilling account of the aftermath of a sucessful invasion of England and occupation by the NAZI's. The fear of the new state and the chaos wrought by occupation, are palpable. There are chilling moments and portrayals of ordinary English people becoming part of the NAZI machine and the bravery of the few who try to stand up to the occupation. The actress Pauline Murray ,turns in a fantastic performance in the lead role.
