Hangman's Curse (DVD, 2004)

I bought this movie after seeing Frank Peretti's "The Visitation". I had never heard of this movie until my nephew told me about it. I was familiar with Frank Peretti's literary works, and enjoyed "The Visitation", so I figured this would be a good choice, too. It did not disappoint me! It was a good, clean movie that had a good, suspenseful plot. I would highly recommend this movie to families with teenagers. It's a movie you could feel comfortable showing in any group setting.

Abel Frye, a troubled teen accused of stabbing a young girl to death, committed suicide in what is, ten years later, known as the ‘forbidden wing’. Ten years later, students at Rogers High School believe the spirit of the tormented teen returns, as students on the football team begin to see hallucinations of the dead pupil. Nate and Sarah Springfield and their two teenage children go undercover to solve the mystery claiming the students in the school with a deadly force that can only end in tragedy, after finding out you can not annihilate what you cannot come across.

This high school thriller has an important message underneath its mystery, and has a positive outcome viewers can all enjoy.

I enjoyed this movie and its conflict, as well as the bravery of the two undercover teenagers. This movie is rated PG-13 for elements of violence, terror, and brief drug material.

I'm a book person so I was skeptical about the movie. Often times christian movies are low budget. Both my 16 year old and I loved it. Very well done and pretty true to the book.

I loved this movie...Its a horror movie without the bad stuff. A CHRISTIAN movie that has you on the edge of your seat wondering whats going to happen next. Scary surprises WITHOUT the language and nudity that people think has to be in all the scary movies out there. HIGHLY recommeded. Its a movie I wouldnt mind my kids, when they get a little older (they are only 2 and 3 now) to see without having to hide their eyes at the breast shots or the sex scenes. And dont have to be embarrassed at the F word coming up every other word... or ANY cussing.. NOT A SINGLE ONE.. and it was still an entertaining and scary movie! Would share this one with anyone!!!

This is a great movie. The story is centered around a family of secret agents. They investigate a situation at a local high school. Its a great movie for teenagers! It never gets old! You can watch it over and over again! I loved it!

great movie keeps you thinking and teaches you a lesson about stereotypes and clicks and teh effects it can have on people all in all its a great movie very suspenseful a must see

This is a great movie for a church lockin or a sleep over. There is NO offensive language and NO adult type situations. The story is centered around a family of secret agents. They investigate a situation at a local highschool. Id like to describe it as a R.L. Stein type "goosebumps" movie, but its better than that. Its not a major hollywood production, but has solid acting. Its just a great family movie, but might not be suited for small children. My youngest was 12 when we first saw it, and she loved it.

This movie was good.It's not terrfing but it will keep you attention.I bought this movie after someone told me about it and they said I needed to see it.It's not what they said it was going to be.But it a good movie to see.

this movie is great. it's a mystery movie taking place at a school that involves a couple of undercover students with their dad as an undercover janitor trying to solve the puzzle of hangman's curse!

i bought it becuase i have read a few frank perettii books so when i saw a movie on a book he wrote i just had to get it.it is a good movie that can get real intens.

I bought this movie for my daughter. I liked it because while it keeps your attention, it is not terrifing.

I never did receive anything from this person. I have seen the DVD before and it is so real life, a kid that has been picked on by the high school kids for so long. He finally has enough and he uses his brain to get even with the big thugs. It is also good because in the end, he sees the error of his ways, or should I say he if forced to.

what i loved about it was that it was a positive up lifting movie that had really interesting things as well as points in it.

I love this movie because it's justa thriller. I'm a big fan of thriller movies and thisis the best one of them all so far. Ian is my favorite character. Hes so... real. Jake Richardson (Ian) has a website you should look it up and write him a letter.

I loved the book so I decided to try the movie. It is an awesome movie. I like it a lot.It's got a great message in it.

The dvd came as stated in good condition and timely. We would be happy to buy from this seller again in the future.
