Handbook Of Local Anesthesia by Stanley F. Malamed DDS. (2004, Paperback)

I purchased this book for my dental hygiene summer school courses. We were told me needed to purchase it, and I decided to shop around. At our bookstore it cost over $100 so I purchased this one for way cheaper.

It took about 10 days to get here which is a little long if you ask me, when it says ships fast. And the picture and description is also deceiving. This book claims to be the same one as pictured. The ISBN # is incorrect as stated, but I also received the South-Asia Edition, which was not pictured or explained.

No problem with the text, it's all still in English. But the bottom of the cover clearly states:
This edition is for sale in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepel, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and designated countries in South-East Asia through Elsevier (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Sale and purchase of this book outside of these countries is unauthorized by the publisher.

I am just not too impressed with this seller, if it was shipped from California to Minnesota. Last time I checked I do not live in South-Asia and/or I did not purchase it from there.

The book was in great condition, however it took 10 days for me to receive it, which was a little long.

Good text book very comprehesnsive. Book is in new conditionand arrived very quickly. I purchased the book to study while I am waitng to take a local anesthisa course for new jersey dental hygienist. I am not sure if it will suffice as a textbook for that course

This book is awesome and teches the basic fundamentals of how to use Anesthesia.

Great for learning purposes or for curiosity reasons.

I would reccommend this book to anyone wanting to advance in medical science
