The Handbook of Doll Repair and Restoration by Marty Westfall (1997, Paperback)

Great book great price great seller, packaged well, shipped fast, etc. The book seams to cover a lot and is not to hard to understand, it has pictures and demonstrations, etc. I didn't have to much time to review it yet because it is Christmastime but the part I did read I liked.

Incredible book. Very detailed information and a lot of "how to". Products--what works and what doesn't. Lots of practical information about repairs--when to and when not to. Advice on salvaging old doll parts and later usage, how to recognize repairs when something is "mint", and above all the knowledge that no one knows everything--you can learn something new every day. Written in an easy to understand manner and very well illustrated. A definite benefit to any one who is considering trying to repair and old doll or purchasing one for restoration. A+++
