This book is amazing. The design ideas are really inspiring and I love the step-by-step instructions on how to construct these pieces. The projects range from ease level 1 with basically cut and paste items to level 3 which may require a circular saw, drill, and a hammer. My only complaint: I wish there were more projects in the book. there are 52 projects and they are all amazing, but i want more!!

) Very useful book for the ''do-it-your-selfer''...has everything I need to make many items for a retro inspired decor.I can take a lot of these items and use their basic idea and expand upon them to make it my own and make it fit what my specific needs are.A great book for anyone who does their OWN decorating and likes to do it retro style.If you like and want to immitate ANY of the designers from the 50's and 60's (and into the 70's)this book is for YOU!!!!

Modern, Contemporary, Easy and Fun!
) I bought this book because I like to do projects for my home. This book covers it all from painting ideas, decorating, furniture, sewing .... everything! I especially love how artists and craftsmen are showcased with how their work has influenced some of the projects. Many of them are ones I admire greatly. I wanted something that would give me some ideas for a small space with a more modern/contemporary touch and this book is chock full of ideas for me. The ideas are easy to alter or expand on as well. I recommend this book highly if you are a DIY person and don't like complicated projects.
