Hamsterz Life (Nintendo DS, 2006)

My daughter wanted this game. To my surprise even I enjoy the game. Great pick. Very entertaining! If you don't want to buy a real hamster, this game will be a great substitute

This is just another way to give your child a pet without the smells and the mess. Keeps them active yet teaches them responsibility. If they ignore their pet for too long it will get sick.

I bought this for my 12 yr old daughter and she loves it!! The game is very easy to figure out and she has been playing with it constantly. Perfect game for a child who wants to raise a pet without the hassle.

My daughter got the second game but really wanted this one. It is no longer available in stores and almost impossible to find in "used" stores. She likes it much better than the Hamsterz 2.

Overall, we are happy with Hamsterz Life; it's not the best DS "game" out there, but it's not the worst either. My 10-year-old gives it a 7.5 out of 10. Enjoy!

I got this for my 8 yr old daughter and she LOVES the game, you can dress your hamster up and train it, buy things for it's cage and so much more. Everytime she plays it she is doing something differant with the hamster. Easy to play but not to easy, she has not got bored with it yet. Wonderful bright colors and back ground. I like the DS games so much better than the SP's you can see the screen very well.

I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She plays it with her friends and they love to name their pets and share them. It is so life-like looking, it's amazing!

13 yr old loves the game, so do I . Very fun. Good graphics and interaction. Perhaps better if could do more with animals ( like put in ball to roll around or expand play area with tubes etc) but overall a great game.

Very cute game, playing with the hamsters, changing the design of the cage, you can take them out of the cage and let them play in the bedroom. The game randomly has differ games to play to win stuff for your hamster. I thought it was neat that you have to clean the hamsters cage.

I bought this game for my child. The mini games are nice but there's quite a bit of waiting around for the mini games to show up. All in all it's a good game just a bit boring at times.

I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter. She picked it because a friend of hers has one and she got to play with it a little. I've never used it so I can't tell you much about it other than my daughter loves it and plays with it for hours. She is very bright and loves animals. If this describes you or the person for whom you are buying the game, then go for it.

My granddaughter wanted this game because her last one stopped working. I found this one on ebay. The seller was fast and efficient and I would recommend them highly.

This is a great game for a little girl or any child! My 6 y/o loves it and it is easy for her to understand and play. I played it first so that i knew what to do but it was so much fun that now i play the game with her!

My three boys love playing this game. They all have really hamsters of their own but can "play" with the ones on the game without getting bit or letting them "escape".

I bought this game for my daughter because she really wanted it for Christmas. She had it before and lost it. She loves playing with this and so does her 4 year old sister. They get to select their hamsters, name them and then play different games and make different homes for them. The other day she showed me how the little hamster loves to go down the slide!! It really is a cute game, and the hamsters all look real- without the mess of a real one:)

I bought this game because my daughter can't have pets do to allergies. So I thought with this game, she can have a pet without the allergies. Also I don't have to worry about the expenses that come along with a pet.

My daughter who is 5 wanted a hamster for Christmas.... I didn't want to take care of one so this was the perfect game for her.... I sat down with her and explained it to her and she hasn't put it down yet.... So for a child 5 to 10 this is a great idea.... it teaches them to remember to feed and water their pet and how to clean up after them... In a few years she might just be ready for the challenge of taking care of a REAL one.... So for the money I give it a 10 out of 10.... And the best part is I havn't heard once "the hamster is lost Mommy" = )
