This one set a standard that has never been duplicated. My favorite Hammer film; THE MUMMY - Once again, Lee and Cushing breathe new life into a horror classic previously done by Universal. Far superior to most films Mummy films that followed; DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE - Christopher lee in his third outing as the evil Count. One of Hammer's biggest money-makers, due no doubt to Lee's great performance and the presence of the beautiful Veronica Carlson; TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA - The fourth time Christopher Lee assumed the role of the Count. Although the film suffers from the fact that Dracula is seen very little, it is still a high quality and atmospheric Hammer classic; FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED - Many Hammer fans believe this to be one of Hammer's best films, with Peter Cushing particularly ruthless as Baron Frankenstein. This collection brings together classic Hammer Film releases by Warner Brothers. My only regret is that Warner Brothers did not add any Special Features, such as commentary or featurettes, to these releases. The picture and sound quality of each DVD are excellent. Experience horror as only Hammer films can create!
