Of all the BBC (whether Scotland BBC or BBC) televsion series, my wife and I agree that the Hamish Macbeth series are the best. The characters are all quite good, the stories interesting, and well done. We regret the BBC didn't continue the story for several more years - but then, that is the way of modern television. Get a sucessful series, then kill it to soon.
