I bought one of these grills about during the Fall of 2007. We have used it daily and have had no problems with its operation as designed. My only two complaints about the design are: (1)There is no temp control. You should use a lower temperature to cook fish than to cook beef or chicken, and (2) the teflon coated removeable plates lose their coating along the top edges. Food sticks, creating a lot of work each time the unit is used. In this case, I was looking for replacement grill plates. I found them at $17.99 each plus shipping. I bought a new grill on E Bay for $33.08 including shipping. Currently available user-applied coatings are not yet perfected. R. Glidewell, Ft. Wayne, IN
