It's a fantastic book for girls with long hair and for girls with really long hair. It's got more pages than most hair books and the pictures are really nice. The book explains in detail how to fix the fanciest styles.I've never been very good at fixing hair but I have had success by looking at the step by step information in this book. With Three small children it is also a sturdy book that would be hard to destroy-and my children can crack cement. My daughter was excited to see the pictures. She is five now and she likes for me to fix her hair.I can't wait until she gets old enough to fix mine by the book. One thing I liked about it was it explains how to hold your arm where it won't tire out as easy, because that has been one thing that always hindered me from fixing my hair-my arm would just give out, and then I would have to start all over again. It's very informative and we really like it.I wish I could have had it when I was a child.
