Very insightful. The book was written in the 1700s originally and still rings true today.

In reading the Hagakure, I have been better able to understand the mind set of the eastern cultures, including that of the middle east.
As a preacher, I have a new understanding of the mindset of the people in the Bible as I have read the ideals of the samurai.
I initially bought this as a business motivation book, but it has turned out to be a strong lesson in the philosphical understanding of our neighbors across the pacific.

Hagakure the hidden leaves with enlighten youI really enjoyed this book and I love everything about it.I have been interested in Martial Arts for a long time. It is nice to discover and find new books with new outlooks on it. This book is another view point from the past that will change the way you think and look at your self and other in your life.
