Hadassah by Mark Andrew Olsen, Tommy Tenney (2005, Paperback, Reissue)

I have given this as a gift to a few people. And I have purchase the movie(One night with the King) as well. It shines a new light upon both scriptural and the human side of Esther. Worth the money and time to read. Not for younger teens, in my opinion, as it deals with some human aspects of marriage- however not in a vulgar way.

A friend loaned me this book a couple of years ago, and I loved it. I am thrilled to finally have my own copy. It was a joy to read, and I love reading fictional writings based on historical (Biblical) truths. I would definitely read this book more than once.

My book arrived quickly and it was in great shape and the price was excellent. I was really happy with everything and the book was also an excellent read!

I Loved this book! Couldn't put it down. Excellently written! Inspiring and extremely encouraging to me in that it reinforced the fact that God IS in control in our lives whether we think so or not.

I LOVE this book! I cried and laughed and sighed (because of the romance). The violence is described in detail and there are some sexual issues that I wouldn't want to talk about just yet with my daughter, so I wouldn't reccomend it for young teenagers. This is so much better than the movie!!! There is a sequal to this that's really good too. I bought several copies to give as gifts, I'll probably need more.

Most awesome book. The charactors jumped out at me and I was so absorbed that I actually felt like a spectator at the actual event.

Can't wait for movie release on 10/13.

I decided to buy this book because I love Tommy Tenney. This story is amazing! It really brings alive the book of Esther!! It also spoke to my heart about our relationship with Christ. It was well worth the money I paid for it and the time I spent reading it(which was one day!! I couldn't put it down!!). I highly recommend this book!!
