I Had the Right to Remain Silent...but I Didn't Have the Ability by Ron White (2006, Hardcover)

Book was easy to read and the illustrations were delightful. I am a big Ron White fan, and the book was a great price, since I had almost bought it previously I decided the time was now.
The only disappointment I have is a large part of the book is dialogue of Ron's shows, which any fan knows by heart. This was offset however, by insights into Ron's life and career that many fans may not know. All in all, well worth the investment and time to learn more about one ope the funniest men in America today.

WATCH HIM ON TV--WITH JEFF FOXWORTHY AND CREW-THEY ARE SO GOOD AT TAKING EVERY DAY LIFE HAPPENINGS AND GIVE YOU A HEARTY CHUCKLE. WE NEED MORE HUMOR IN THIS DAY AND AGE--LESS VIOLENCE.
Decided to buy it--hubby of 53 yrs. recently passed from cancer. He got chuckles from Ron White and that crew also. I need to keep my sense of humor now more than ever--this helps.

Thw reason I bought this book was the fact that I like Ron White. The book was informative and I enjoyed reading about his life though I feel it could have been put together better. I don't believe it does him justice, scattered as it is.

by all means this guy is hilarious. but if you've heard him stand up you might be alittle disappointed cause basically its the same stories youve already heard just in written form rather than the funnier verbal version. if your big on books i doubt this is for you its very short, big text, picture every other page book, i can be read even by a novice in mayber an hour or so. a few new good stories... but for the most part not such a good book. definetly would be nicer to borrow from a friend than spend the money on it... then again you could always sell it ebay. hahah
