HTC Touch Diamond (Unlocked)

I purchased this phone used off of Ebay and I am writing this review on day 1. The phone has some really intuitive features but in my opinion somewhat lacks the processing capabilities for the software (TouchFLO) installed. Every so often it’s a bit non responsive and overall a little slow. The "YouTube" app. is great and my only quirk about the browser is the fact that it doesn’t support flash. With phones "D-pad" (Zoom feat.) webpage’s are a breeze to navigate. The only thing I found kind of annoying was the fact that the TouchFLO lacked advanced settings and in order to change certain settings you must use Windows Mobile interface. Overall this is very compact for a smart phone and well designed but maybe next time HTC can up the processor a whole lot more. Lastly the only thing which I hate more than the slowness of the phone is the lack of an external micro SD memory slot because this phone only has 4GB of internal memory and is not expandable. Also additionally the on screen keyboard does not utilize the accelerometer on the phone so you must type holding the phone vertical rather than horizontal. I hope this review helps while you’re searching for a good phone, overall I would rate this phone on a scale from 1-10, Ten being the highest a 7. HTC made definitely made a good phone w/ a couple of underdeveloped areas, put in regards to the phone in general this is by no means an "i-phone killer".

I am a Financial Analyst and was looking for a phone to use for work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. This phone has proven to be a winner for me. I love the main screen which shows me calendar events, messages, and weather instantly. I also love the cube options with my favorite phone #'s with picture capability of the person I need to call. The camera is very good at 2 megapixal. If there is any down side to the phone that I have found it might be the speaker phone. I have used it twice in the office and it cut out and in with static. It could be the office building I am not sure but the ear piece had not static. Also the battery has not lasted to my expectations when the phone is used considerably during the day. It will still certainly last a full day or more but not what I was expecting. All in all I love this phone. I was debating between this and the Blackberry Curve. I stayed away from the Blackberry because of no Office, Messenger, Word, Excel, and Outlook. I highly recommend this phone to anyone. You will love it
