The HP Surestore FC Switch 6164 provides a pre-configured and fully integrated Storage Area Network (SAN) with 64 universal fiber channel ports to address your requirements for reliability, availability, and scalability. The integrated SAN design with pre-configured inter-switch links enables rapid deployment without a long design cycle. Full compatibility with all Brocade-based fiber channel switches, including the Brocade 2800 and 2400, and the HP FC Switch 16 protects your investment. The HP FC Switch 6164 is manageable: it features pre-configured inter-switch links (ISLs) for rapid deployment with single view tools. This switch allows logical partitioning of physical devices attached to a SAN, integrates fully with HP OpenView storage management products. It also provides full compatibility with existing HP hubs, bridges and fiber channel switches and connects remote fabrics over virtually limitless distances.
