HDScape Sampler (HD DVD, 2006)

I bought this HD DVD Sampler just after buying a new Toshiba HD DVD player. The HDScape Sampler is a good demo disk to show off that TV and the outstanding HD DVD capabilities.

However, I will probably never watch it again...since it is a sales disk to get you to buy the other HD DVD's that are on the disk. So it will be a demo disk to show off those underwater scenes and the Hawaii beaches.

I would not pay more than $10 for it...thank god I got a good deal on eBay.

The sound and graphics are really good but is it worth more than $10???? if you can get it for less than buy it but it is not worth $15 or more.

Yeah i know it's a sampler. But only 4 minutes and a half per sample......In example : If you play them all, you will have 4.30min of Aquarium, 4.30min of fireplace, etc.....

You cannot disable music, and sometimes music is not needed ( like in the fireplace )

Good enough for the price. It's nice that it's a hybrid DVD so I can play it on any of my DVD players.

I liked the variety of landscapes. I bought it to have a pretty background picture and music on my TV.

DVD is very cool,just like the demos in the stores have playing,had lots of fun with this.I had this playing in our game room when haveing freands over they all thought this was great

I'm not sure what I was thinking. I imagined that this disc would have 10-15 minute previews of each of the described scenes. This disc helped me realize which of the HDScape discs I would be interested in buying. I thought it would be neat to watch fish and found out I REALLY don't like it at all.

I like that this disc made me realize how cool it would be to have the Hawaii disc and that I don't need to waste my money on the ocean or aquarium discs.

Please be informed that each sampler is about 3 minutes in length. Enough to get a small taste of what the full disc would be like. It seems like a waste to put such a limited time of each on the disc but I guess that's how they get you to buy the full-length versions.
I got what I paid for-I picked this up pretty cheap-but not cheap enough.

great item like new, item has HD dvd and Regular DVD Format. with shipping value to me was $5.50, shipping was fast and the properly packed

dislike. didn't work in my 4 dvd player they need to add on the description item that the DVD works only with HD dvd players
