  HD Fireplace

The HD quality was excellent but I did not like the fact that you can see a human hand stoking the fire quite often throughout the film and, astoundingly, you can hear cell phones, human conversation and babies crying in the background. I initially decided to buy it because it was touted as being professionally produced. I am not sure what exactly I was expecting, but I certainly did not expect to hear babies crying, talking and cell phones ringing in the backgound. I guess if one turned the sound down and didn't mind a human arm stoking and placing logs on the fire throughout then it would be ok. But, not for this buyer. I apologize that I had to write this review, but I feel that the seller or producer should have been aware that these were detriments to the overall quality of the film. Subsequently, I feel there was an element of apathy displayed in the production of this film, and it should be redone or edited to (at the very least) remove the extemporaneous background noises. People don't want to see arms, or hear background noises.

Dissapointed. . . .to say the least.
HD cinimatagraphy was less than average. Some shots were zoomed in, most others were shots of most the fireplace. One 20 second shot was a close-up while the camera was bumped and moving back and forth. Every five minutes or so, a man comes into the shot doing his best impression of stoking a fire. If you plan to use this video for intimacy purposes with your significant other, these 'stoking shots' may spoil it as you suddenly feel you are not alone in the room.

As for the sound, the cracks and explosions are captured well, but that's not all that was captured on the soundtrack. In multiple spots, you can hear other things around the house it was filmed in. I'm surprized that these ambient noises didn't get dubbed out in the final cut. A loud cell phone rings once in the middle of the video at about 9min. 30 sec. A kid is heard crying or yelling many times throughout the film, especially around 2 min. 53 sec, and 5 min. 14 sec. Why would this guy filming plan his shots with the kids in the house anyways? A house grandfather clock is also heard at about 6:45.

Pretty funny that it was left in there considering they could have easily been removed before this film went into production.

The video repeats after about 30 minutes.
