Movie Description
Not to be confused with Steven Spielberg's take on H.G. Wells's haunting classic novel, which was released at about the same time, this is an extremely low-budget version that retains the book's time period and stays true to its plot. Directed by Timothy Hines and featuring a cast of unknowns, it tells the familiar--but still powerful--story of a sudden, terrifying attack on Victorian England by seemingly unstoppable alien invaders.
