Guys and Dolls (DVD, 2006, Deluxe Edition)

In plain simple words, I LOVE this musical Guys and Dolls, and this Deluxe Edition DVD and 72 page booklet brought it home to me. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to see a show that makes you FEEL GOOD. It brings out all the emotions and best in you. The humor is irresistible; the music and dance scenes make you want to join in. The lead roles are great, and are supported by a wonderful cast of characters, period clothing and scenery. I chose the widescreen version and am very glad I did--Lots of details. The cars from the time period really brought back memories. If you have feelings, you'll love it. steamer51

guys and dolls is one of the old classics .
it has marlon brando and frank sinatra in it (how can you go wrong with those two actors).
this movie is beloved because of all the song and dance .
i have watched this movie over and over again and will bewatching it again real soon (i never get tired of this movie),as its been my favorited movie since i was a little girl.
i used to watch this with my mom when i was a little girl its my fondest memory of my times with my mom.
my husband who never saw this watched it with me the other day and sat thru the whole movie (hes not to fond of watching long movies )but sat thru this one and really enjoyed the movie
i lve how they colorized this movie it really adds to the movie.
all the singing and dancing is so fun to watch,and (BRANDO) even sing a solo in this ( hes not bad ) but im sure old blue eye (SINATRA) could have done the solo better.but you gotta love brando for trying.
i think this is a must buy for your collection(expectially it you love old movies)

I am a huge fan of musical theater, so I just had to have the film version of one of the best. The stoy line is great, about finding true love where you least expect it, or finally seeing it in front of your face. With great costumes and songs that will stick in your mind. A must have for any theater lover.

I have looked for this dvd since seeing the production done in high school. The movie is one rare in that its just as good as seeing it done live. This is a must for anyone who appreciates anything Broadway.

This is the perfect re-mastered classic dvd, great stars, great songs, great movie. anyone who loves musicals will appreciate this, Frank Sinatra & Marlon Brando, perfect! No musical movie collection can be complete without the great performances contained in one single production.

Video quality is superb, great DVD features, very good period movie with Frank and Marlon Brando. Ester Williams is also a great supporting actress. If you like the movies from this time period this is a must for your library and can be bought for cheap $$$. :)

This is a great classic musical about a gambler and a mission worker who meet and fall in love. It is filled with a lot of catchy numbers, great choreography, and classic humor. A must have for all lovers of musicals. Also note, Marlon Brando sings throughout this movie...something you don't normally see in his career. He plays a great 'Skye Masterson'. Hard to find in the stores, but worth the investment.

This was just a really enjoyable musical.Wonderful cast and musical numbers. I made this purchase for my daughter and it was great fun to watch it together.
