I guess you could call this a cult film, wow... from the director of kids... this is a bizzare set of stories from this little, disturbed, poor, trashed, town in ohio. If you dislike animal cruelty, mistreatment of people with down syndrome, twins, or gay midets... This movie isn't for you. It is bizzare, and funny if you have the right sense of humor. My brother says stoners would laugh their asses off from this movie. Just see for yourself... if you have the stomach for it.Let me know what u think, please rate this review.Thank you.

This was a very true to life move in a small town, I live less than 10 miles from Xenia Ohio and I know that not every small town is was it seems. If you want to get a movie that shows the true disturbed teen......watch this movie!!! It is deffinitly mind blowing!!!!

In my opinion...Gummo is a fantastic film for the following reasons: The characters are unique and original and some of the most interesting and complex I've seen. This film is a real slice of life and I would reccomend this movie to anyone who likes unusual films shot like a documentary. GREAT MOVIE!

This movie is truely unbelievable. It has many different point of views from people who live in this town. Gummo really is worth a watch.
Also: Gummo is the movie that is playing in "Belly" when they arrive back at DMX's house after the robbery at the begging on the movie. Filthy Rabbit!!

Harmony, I don't think so."A desire to point out the flaws in modern society isn't reason enough to make a film" wrote one reveiwer and I see it as the opposite. I feel as an adult I've grown out of fairytales and it's time to move on into the gruesome reality that is life. If you want a story about a mistreated stepchild turned princess get a Disney movie. Everything is not okay and this movie portrays reality.
