The track list for this game, along with the original recordings (including the reunited Sex Pistols!) is a must have. You will get lost in involvement when playing this game. This is one of the best soundtracks in a game to date.

Gameplay – 9/10
Though under new “ownership”, Activision has taken this game this game down a similar road, but with a new car. With slight improvements in the display hud, the notifications of streaks, and the “star power” activators easier to get, this game is fun. Plain and simple.

Replay Value - 10/10
When you see the achievement list, it will make you achievement “gatherers” play this game again and again to get the full 1000/1000. Plus with the addition of online multiplayer, content downloads, and competitive play – it will hard not to play this game over and over. This is a worthy sequel.

Overall - 9/10
Able to play this game early, there are a few new tweaks to the actual gameplay, and it feels a bit easier to play (except some of the very final songs), but this game follows the old saying “if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it”. The song list, along with the new guitar, is stellar. With all the original, or master, tracks that are in this game, it is hard not to enjoy this game if you are a fan of rhythm or music games.

The new wireless “Gibson” guitar is heavier, more durable, and the closest thing to a real guitar peripheral that I have felt. I must say that this is a nice controller, and I did not want to put it down. I applaud Activision’s attention to detail. I highly recommend this bundle.

I as consume highly recomen this game. It's a great game for the lover of rock and a full challenge to play it with the five buttons and expert level because the timing and precision are tough to deal, but the rhym of the songs help, as well as you feel part of the game. Buy it you won't regret.

Be very careful when making purchases - both of these sellers had feedback ratings of 99+ when bid was placed. Both sellers had their feedback ratings plummet before becoming unregistered. Beware.

this game will bring lots of joy to anyone willing to play. it challenges the mind, builds hand eye quardnation and it's fun! With the lengends of rock for xbox 360 it allows you to download many different music packs FOR FREE which always spices up the game. there are just tons of things you can do with this game, including challenging your friends or strangers online. I received my order within 5 business days as advised. The game package was damaged and the game disc would not play. There were no instructions with the game/gutair. I sent several e-mails to the seller with no response. They were quick to provide a positive rating for me after they received my payment and then forgot about me. BUER BEWARE!!!

I love this! In todays world where kids only sit in front of TV's or have constant earplugs in their ears this item enables them to learn about music from a different perspective. My teenager plays this constantly and I don't mind because he sets goals to be an expert while learning how to be patient until he gets to that point. He even gets me and his dad involved. I decided to buy it because he already had Rock Bank and it seems to make him happy whether he is playing the guitar, the drums or singing into the microphone. Overall, it introduces music and isn't like the other video games with the blood and killing...and it is for all ages.

The new song edition are refreshing and I especially love my Gibson controller. Mucho homage to Guitar Hero!

I originally had GHIII for PS2 and literally played the game until around 10-15 songs became unplayable. I decided to buy GH3 for my 360 at that point and LOVED IT! First of all the game looks SO much better and smoother. The wireless control has NO lag unlike my PS2 counter-part and the controller itself plays a lot softer and wont sound like ur tapping a stick on plastic when you are hitting those solos.

The game is fun, but graphics are cartoonish. Gameplay seems a bit harder then Rock Band so a little more chalenging. Rockband out preforms this game even with out the drums, Bass and Mic. This is a great game to pick up cheap (under $20) but not worth spending $50 for. Oh and the Rock Band Guitar is NOT PLAYABLE on this game (yet my Guitar Hero guitar works on my Rock Band). Over all a good game, but if your comparing to Rock Band and your only gonnna buy one...buy Rock Band.
