Graphics - 8/10
For what the game is, you are not buying this game to play for the graphics – though Activision was able to make the animations more vibrant, and a more noticeable experience.

Sound – 10/10
The track list for this game, along with the original recordings (including the reunited Sex Pistols!) is a must have. You will get lost in involvement when playing this game. This is one of the best soundtracks in a game to date.

Gameplay – 9/10
Though under new “ownership”, Activision has taken this game this game down a similar road, but with a new car. With slight improvements in the display hud, the notifications of streaks, and the “star power” activators easier to get, this game is fun. Plain and simple.

Replay Value - 10/10
It will hard not to play this game over and over. This is a worthy sequel.

Overall - 9/10
There are a few new tweaks to the actual gameplay, and it feels a bit easier to play (except some of the very final songs), but this game follows the old saying “if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it”. The song list, along with the new guitar, is stellar. With all the original, or master, tracks that are in this game, it is hard not to enjoy this game if you are a fan of rhythm or music games.

The new wireless “Gibson” guitar is heavier, more durable, and the closest thing to a real guitar peripheral that I have felt. I must say that this is a nice controller, and I did not want to put it down. I applaud Activision’s attention to detail. I highly recommend this bundle.

No dislikes so far. I bought it for my grandchildren and found it to be more entertaining than i had expected. The nice plus to this is that two of my grandchildren are now interested in playing a musical instrument other than the guitar.

When the package arrived my son was very pleased because the it was almost like new. The original stickers were included therefore my son was able to design his guitar. It took alittle longer then anticipated to arrive but nonethless my 15yr old son was pleased. I would buy from this seller again.

this is probably the greatest game to play yet in this trilogy. with even more music and more visual effects. this game has come along way since the first one. but dont get me wrong all of these games are great but by far this is the best yet

This is the 3rd installment, and by far the best. It has the most song, the best bundled guitar, and the most in-game options. A great buy.

ONE THING THOUGH MY DAUGHTER SAID THE WIRED ONE IS BETTER BECAUSE THERE IS NO DELAY BETWEEN HITTING THE BUTTONS AND IT SHOWING UP ON THE SCREEN.

The Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock does not work. The wireless receiver and guitar will not keep a connection. Shipping was very fast, but it's no use when shipping a bad item. Contacted the seller twice with no reply and called on several occasions with no answer......

Awesome game...the levels are appropriate and challenging, tunes are awesome - a little more old school and alternative but still fun to play even if you don't know them.

Guitar Hero 3 has some pretty great gameplay, and great songs. It has more songs than guitar hero 2 and has better songs as well. Now after the craziness has died down, you might be able to get this game at an affordable price.

I really wanted to buy the guitar hero game everyone would talk about it, but i thought they were kinda expensive. i bought this one for a pretty good price but the guitar didnt work too well. strummer wont go down making it hard for me to chose songs. i have to switch guitar with an actual controller. really annoying. Well the cd works good. i like the songs, awsome characters. Love the game just not the guitar i was given. im looking forward to guitar hero 4 aerosmith.

While I'm an advid video gamer, most games no longer thrill me. When I first played GH, I was hooked. Hooked for a long while. That was about a year ago, and I played GH 2. Now you would think that an updated version of the game would be a lot more fun, but sadly that is not the case for GH 3. The graphics on GH3 are horrible. They look very dull and aren't as sharp as GH2, or GH1 for that matter. Good song titles from the old axe masters, however, due to the crappy graphics, I was not able to 'dive in', so to speak. I know this is due mostly because the game was designed for better consoles (PS3, XBOX360* .......Wii...) It does not have that same "Yeah! I'm rocking out with a plastic guitar!?!!" feel as the previous ones. But enough of the game and onto the axes...

The Kramer Striker wireless guitars look very sleek. They are eye pleasing. The fact that the neck is detacheable is a plus. However, the quality has somewhat let me down a bit. On one guitar, the neck was kinda loose, not by a lot, but still annoying, and on the other guitar, the whammy bar was loose. Loose enough to move on its own. When 2 guitars are 'plugged in' (you plug in the wireless receiver into the console) its a pain. You'd think that the first guitar to be turned on and connect would be 1st player. This is not the case here. The guitar will start functioning, yet it somehow connected to the player 2 port, first. I try switching the receivers, and that seemed to work, until the next time I try to connect again. I now leave just one receiver plugged in. Also, the guitars have a range of about 30' (feet); not bad at all! Now I'm not sure if its the fact that I have not played in a long while, but there seems to be a bit of 'lag'. I never experienced that with the wired version. Then again it could be just me, who knows.

The bundle also included 2 sheets of stickers, along with a keychain (which I use :), 4 DURACELL batteries (Wow, DURACELL! Not some crappy unknown brand!), and 2 gig bags to put your guitars in. Very useful if you like to visit a friend just to whoop his/her butt at GH. Oh, I almost forgot the 2 straps!

Packaging was done well. Not a single scratch, dent, or missing piece.

All in all, the guitars are good. I like them, and I think you will like them too. I disliked GH3 very much though, but thats just me. You will get a lot of eye strain from GH3 if played in the PS2. This is from someone who owns a 32" LCD. And no, the game does not support HDTV format. At least not on the PS2. I guess I should mention that I only got this bundle, mainly for the 2 guitars.

I hope this rating was fair. I will admit that I was mostly ranting about how awful GH3 is (to me). Again, the guitars are pretty darn cool. They are wireless which reduces clutter. With a 30' (feet) range, hey you can't go wrong! Remember the extras too!

Really good game, I enjoy it alot....really good songs....it's a good buy, for people who enojy rock n roll, this is a game for them....this saves music, and teaches the new generation about music from the past.

Guitar Hero game was looked brand new. It works well and my kids and husband love it. The seller shipped the product the same day my payment went through.

Enjoyed playing it at my friends house, so got one of my own. Like it, lots of fun. My brother and I enjoy playing and the music is great. Even bought a second guitar so we could both play.

I bought this product because my 11yr old son wanted it for his birthday. The whole family has enjoyed it and it's been a great hit at parties! The wireless guitar has been great!
