Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Wii, 2007)

Graphics

Clearly this game is made for the purpose of the guitar playing, and not for the amazing lifelike graphics. That being said, activision did a great job with the style of graphics used. The colors are great, and there is nice detail included in characters and guitars.

Sound

The sound track in this game is superb. They've got it all from Aerosmith, ZZ top, and Black Sabbath, to AFI, The Killers, and Weezer. The selection has a very wide range, and will have you hooked right away. To see a full list of songs included on this game see my Guitar Hero III Song List guide.

Gameplay

The overall style is the same with Guitar Hero III, as the last; however, there are slight changes/improvements in the display hud, streak notifications, and the “star power” activator is much easier to get. The game is addicting and great fun.

Replay

This is definitely worthy of replay. I myself have spent countless hours playing it already. It is a great game that will not get old quick.

Conclusion

This game is a 10 in my book. The song list is phenomenal, the game play is relatively the same, but there are enough changes in the game to start fresh from the last installment. The new guitar is a huge improvement. It is heavier than the previous, and seems much more durable. I would recommend this game to any who loved the other or enjoy music and rhythm.
