Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s (PlayStation 2)

I loved that i was one of the first people to actually play the game and beat it, they had a lot of new unlockable guitars, the graphics were the same as the old guitar hero 2. They have added a lot of new characters to choose from, and i still like playing it.

I really didn't enjoy the fact that all the songs were covered, slow, or lame. Come on give me some Megadeath, Judas Priest, Eagles, something ... harder..

This is a great game! Lots of Classic 80s songs. This is by far my most favorite guitar hero yet! Better than Aerosmith & Legends of Rock combined

Encore includes several of my favorite songs from the 80's. It is fun to play the game while listening to the great 80's music. Love this game!

Great selection of songs from the years I was growing up. Even has a couple songs that were great back then, but no real rocker wants to admit they still like. Keep the Guitar Heroes coming!!

This game has 42 songs all wonderful. Of course it only took a couple of days to beat the game, but thats how all the guitar hero games are. I recommend this game to anyone who is a lover of guitar hero!

Dont you have any good music for the guitars except for the hard roc or ppunk music? We dont all like that kind of music!

This was purchased for me for Mother's Day. I love it. The songs are great and I found it slightly harder than Guitar Hero III. The only thing I dislike is that there aren't more songs -- only 30 and I enjoyed it so much that I wished there were more.

The game is great. It has really cool songs. I would definetly recommend this game to everyone. It is soo much fun.

Unbeatable price and great service makes this a no brainer! I've always been a fan of the Guitar Hero series and just had to add to my collection. This game still retails for $50 in the most stores, which I think is a little high considering it has less frills than the ones that came before it. I enjoyed Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, but not as much as Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. The graphics as good. But did not like the fact that you could not access the store option until you were at Medium level. But the choice selection of the music was good, and even at easy some of the songs were pretty challenging.

This game is so like bitchen for sure. We like totally blazed and rocked the Flock of Seagulls DUDE. Shiaa Right.

This game improved from guitar hero 1. The graphics were very fitting for the 80s. Many good songs from that decade. Good buy for any guitar hero fan!! Once again Activision has produced a quality game.

I have been hooked on Guitar Hero since I played it the first time. Unfortunately I started with Guitar Hero III, which was the best one in my opinion. I purchased Guitar Hero 80's Encore with the idea it would be like Guitar Hero III. They do play the same, but the difference is in the music on the game itself. The cover band or bands on the 80's game are not very good!! The original artist's do not perform the songs on the game. Meaning the music played on the game that you play along with is not up to par with the awesome 80's songs put in the game. The songs on the game are great, but I wish the song performance and sound of the songs was a lot better. Going and playing Guitar Hero III after playing the 80's version is a night and day experience. Guitar Hero 80's for me is a game that had great possibilities, but completely stumbled with poor musical delivery. If it wasn't for the great song list on that game I would get rid of it, but I'll tough it out for the sake of my affection for 80's rock.

i'm usually very very bad at games with hand eye coordination, I'm good at this game! not that it's easy, it's just learnable and really fun!
