Guitar Hero 5 (Wii, 2009)

I love the fact you can now jump in during play. Great genre of song titles. Also like, Roadie Battle mode, party play mode, and much more. Oh, you can import other songs from previous GH versions...you gotta own it...

Music available is better than earlier offerings of guitar hero. Expert mode is easier than hard mode in earlier similar guitar hero products (or I am getting a lot better, or both).

This is a great deal...all first class. All new and sealed products and priced very low. i wanted a second guitar so that my kids can play both bass and lead. i actually ordered this kit for the PS2 at first by mistake...the seller was happy to cancel the bid and let me purchase the wii set...thanks!

I decided to buy this Christmas gift for my husband FROM this Seller because they had a good feedback rating. As it is yet to be opened, I can only descibed the FAST delivery, the PACKAGING looks new, and I don't think the Seller would bother giving the customer an opportunity to even DO a review if this product was NOT on the up and up. So I am sure this is authentic, I realize I have taken a chance, but my gut instinct tells me I made a good choice. Thank you guys!!

This one is another good one for guitar hero. It gives a variety of songs with an easy gameplay. But there are some downfalls of this game. It does not allow for multiple accounts/users for singleplayer(If it does I have not found it and it must be very hard to find). I have looked everyhwere for it and can not find it. Overall its just another Guitar Hero. If you like the others then you will like this one as well.

It's a little different than the other Guitar Hero games. It's a little easier to play (at least on Medium level) and better songs (particularly for an older person)than what's on the other games. It makes it easier for the person who is not an expert but wants to improve to hard or expert level.

I think it is easily the best Guitar Hero/ Rock Band game ever. I can use my Rock Band drums with it! AND my Rock Band guitar and mic! Plus, I had a few songs that I downloaded on World Tour, which got trasfered to GH5, so I have over 100 songs on it. Plus, I hear you can pay to have all of the World Tour songs accessible through GH5. That would be amazing! So yeah. A must have for any Guitar Hero fanatic.

In comparison to Guitar Hero World Tour as my only reference; there's alot more options for multiplayers (up to 8), and Band format. Scoring has changed so that only one instrument may be able to take the challenge, or some are require at least 2 instruments playing just to take the challenge. Many new features such as finding band members & friends online are nice. Roadie Battles are new, and the song list is huge. You can import songs from GHWT onto the song list also. They've deleted "Strong Start & Finish points, but added other bonus points for notes in a row, strumming alternating, and strumming up only, also whammy bar use, and HOPO hits. For a limited time they also offer the Van Halen game with it, or mail in coupon to get it free. The songs are tougher! Medium on GHWT is about the same as beginner on GH5. I've only had it about two weeks, but enjoy it very much.
