I did recieve the book & I thank you for it. It really helps me out alot. Me being the first time being a Girl Scout Coleader for our Brownie/Junior Girl Scout troop here in the Imperial Beach, California area.

I decided to buy this book after co-leading a brownie troop for a year, knowing I had another year of brownies, then 2 years of daises before 2 years of brownies again. I have 2 daughters, so I'll be in this awhile. I, like the author, had been a scout, but when I came back as a leader years later, so much was different. This book gives leaders good tips for organization of al the GS paperwork, how to handle different scenarios that may arise while dealing with kids and families, and ideas for how to run a troop meeting. Excellent resource for me to have as a troop organizer and I approach an adult as a possible volunteer, and they want to kow what they would have to do.

I got this book to help get me up to speed on the rules & guidelines so that I could help with my daughters troop this year & it has been great. I have even used some of the things I have learned with my children at church.
