A must have guide for every collector of United Sates coins.
This book is easy for anyone to understand, with descriptions and color photos of many coins. And don't just look at the the price guide, read all the other parts from cover to cover to learn interesting histories and facts about coins that you may not already know. There are stories of famous Hoards, Sunken Treasures, and brief bits on great collectors and collections of the past.
In 1946, a slim but fact-filled book hit the hobby scene: R.S. Yeoman's Guide Book of United States Coins. This April, Whitman Publishing will release the 60th Anniversary edition of this beloved, best-selling hobby guide, known everywhere as the Red Book. The Red Book prices more than 6,000 coins, with nearly 30,000 individual values. Of course this comprehensive pricing isn't the only reason collectors have made the Red Book one of the top-selling nonfiction titles in publishing history. This is the Number 1 book of coins out there. Not a day goes by that I don't use this book. If you are a coin collector this is the one book you should have. This has everything in it. All of the different American coins and what they are made of and what they are worth for different grades, it has type coins and minting information and everything you will ever need to know. I have been using this book since 2002 and it is still the best one out there.

If you are into coin collecting and need a book to get you the prices and quotes of your coin collection, then this is the book you need to have in your collection.
Its to the date on prices, very easy to understand and to read whats going on in the coin market. R.S. Yeoman writes a great book and helps you in the coin market, wether you are a 1st timer or you have been at it for years or you just plunder in coins from time to time.
As in helping me decide if I should buy it or not..the decision was simple.BUY IT. Yeoman could have not made it any easier on reading this book and helping you understand the coin market.

I BOUGHT THE BOOK SO I COLD LEARN MORE ABOUT THE VLUE OF COINS I HAVE AND ARE LOOKING TO BUY. I PAID FOR MY PURCHASE WITH PAYPAL THE DAY I BOUGHT I. ABOUT A WEEK LATER I RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM THE SELLER THAT THE BOOK WOULD BE SHIPPED OUT THENEXT DAY. I NEVER RECIEVED THE BOOK. ABOUT 3 WEEKS LATER I RECIEVED LETTERS FROM EBAY AND PAYPAL SAYING NOTTO PAY FOR THE ITEM IF I HAD NOT ALREADY. TOO LATE. THE ITEM WAS REMOVED FROM EBAY AND THE SELLER WHO HAD JUST RECIEVED 18 NEG. FEEDBACK FROM BUYERS WHO NEVER RECIEVED THERE ITEMS WAS KICKED OFF EBAY. I AM STILL FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THIS AS A LOUSY DEAL!!!
