Lessons for Older Children Too

My 13 year old son and I have already started the 'teen' struggle. He thinks I'm always yelling. I don't think he's always listening. After one of our 'issues', I had him read this book. The lesson is very clear and applied as well to a teen as to a younger child. It IS hard growing up, but what you're going through is what every child goes through. What you're feeling and perceiving, every child feels and perceives.
Parents will also get some insight as to what is going on in a child's mind, as this 'story' hits home. For me, it brought back memories of being young and trying to grow up, something I had almost forgotten.
The book is worth the time, worth the effort, worth the reading, worth the money. Funny, I've never been a Dr. Laura fan, but she really hits home with this book.
