Growing Orchids Is Fun by Albert P. Hollingsworth (1989, Paperback)

This book is written so the beginner can understand how to tend orchids and even propagate them if wanting to go that far. It explains the origins, naming of species and what the "X" means when buying an orchid from the garden shop or nursery. After reading just a few chapters, I have a better understanding of maintaining and encouraging new growth on my own beauties. I just can't say enough about the down to earth ease of understanding it gives.
